Organized in 1987, the L.P.N. is a 501c-3 tax-exempt organization with a mission of creating career, educational and social opportunities for Latinos in Massachusetts and throughout the nation.
L.P.N. offers a wide variety of resources to its members such as monthly networking meetings with major corporations, scholarship opportunities from educational partners such as Harvard University and Bentley College as well as access to employment opportunities throughout the country.
As we continue our work to increase the visibility of Latinos and promote an image of diverse professionalism, it's encouraging to see the economic, political, educational and social contributions of Latinos being recognized in Massachusetts and across the nation.

In 1987, David J. Cortiella, Esq., a senior official within Mayor Ray Flynn's administration, founded Latino Professional Network. The network was created in an effort to support Latino professionals and to create visibility of the growing Latino population of Massachusetts.
